Lets go fly a kite

Ryan came home from work yesterday with a big surprise....a kite!! We spent the evening flying it until it got dark:)

Easter Pageant

We took Dallas to the Easter Pageant at the temple last night. We weren't sure how he would do at first. But he sat and watched intently the whole time. When it got to the part where Jesus was getting whipped Dallas started sobbing. I love my little tender hearted boy who cares so much. He covered his face with his shirt and cried. On the way home he asked lots of questions. It was a great experience, I think it will be a new Easter time tradition.

Catcher

At Dallas's game on Saturday they were without a catcher. Lucky for them Ryan has quite a bit of experience in that category, so he stepped right in...in his flip flops. I was so proud:)

Carney folk

is what some call us. We pretty much can't say no to a carnival, any carnival. So we hit the one in town last night.

Dallas saw lots of buddies climbed a rock wall....and really really wanted to win a goldfish....but when we finally got up to the game all the goldfish were gone.

Dylan snuck on pretty much every ride, and bypassed the lines. Ryan and I would just pretend to be talking so when the ride people would look our way to stop him it looked like we didn't see it. It's these kinds of tricks you learn with years of Carney experience:)

Girls Trip

Just got back from a little girls trip to California(or as i like to call it Alaska). I may have kept a coat on the whole time but it was still loads of fun.

A few random highlights: trying to escape the master bedroom quietly at 2:00 and getting caught red handed and submitting to staying, nuts, people pleasing, dead inside, sparkling eyes, "more consistent" getting tackled by Ali, and getting it on film, blackmailing, nuts, red wigs, boxers, black hair, 6 hours of W stories, nuts, too many girl stores, Javier's, cc's, harmonizing, getting shown at least one set of what I came for

Coming home to my sweet boys and this note and OH NO, DYLAN HAS DISCOVERED THE MAGIC OF RYAN. I have to win him back this week somehow:)

Today my heart got on a bus.

and drove away...

But lucky for me, the bus drove it right on back in just a few short hours, with a smile:)
