Egg hunt extravaganza 2012

       Today was the power ranch annuel egg hunt.  We got there early so we could soak in the activities before the big hunt.  They started with all the bouncy stuff.

                                   The local highschool's girls basketball team was there giving dribbeling and passing lessons.  The girl my boys got was so sweet.

      Dallas had a little extra weight to carry around during his turn.  It was like this all day.  Dylan was glued to his big brother, he loves Dallas more than anyone in the world and big D was such a good big brother letting his little bro be stuck to him all day.

              next up was the cookie decorating, I found out my boys really like sprinkles:)

                        There was a putting contest going on, and big D waited his turn and when he got up there he asked for a" PING putter please"  good thing they had one! and...he got a hole in one, he was the first kid that had gotten one so far that day.  Ryan has never been so proud.

                     Finally it was time for the egg hunt.  the 3-5 year olds went first and big D helped Dylan get his basket filled up.

 Then there was a wait before Dallas's age group went so we met the Bunny.

Finally to finnish off the day we set a blanket up in the shade and let the kids eat their candy.

                                      It was a great day:)

snow and sun

 It's that time of year again when we have snow cones for lunch and play with the hose all day.  I really couldn't live anywhere else!

 The one bonus of not having our spring break the same week as the Heaps was that we got to celebrate their spring break too! We went to a ball game and to visit them at the BEST resort that they were staying at, there were activities for the kids every hour and the most cozy luxurious chairs for us to sit and watch and talk in the sun as our boys played and laughed. 

St. Patrick's day

                      St. Patrick's day morning the boys woke up to find that some sneaky leprechaun had turned the milk green again and left them some green donuts.  After breakfast we took advantage of the windy day and flew the green kite from Grandma and Grandpa Thorne:) We wore green and didn't get pinched, it was a good day:)

Grandma and Grandpa Thorne come to town

 Grandma and Grandpa Thorne came to visit and the boys were in heaven.  They flew kites and read books and looked at trains. 

                  Grandpa brought these two little trucks from his work, and they loved them.

                  and Big D ran down the street after them when they drove away:) Love you guys!!

Spring Break= Spring training

                           There is no better activity on Spring Break then going to a spring training baseball game.  Sun, entertainment, and yummy treats.  The boys had a blast.
