party at Steph's

On Saturday we went to the annual Easter egg hunt party at Steph's. I came up a little early for some quality Weaver time. My kids had a blast! It was a shirts optional type of day:)

I found out that Dylan loves Hank the dog more than me. I have never seen the kid so happy or obsessed with something...I might need some permanent Hank visitation time.
These two were babies the last Weaver easter party we were at. They were so happy to play together.

I need to start having egg hunt drills in my back yard. My kids always play it slow and only get a few eggs.

Thanks Steph for the fun party!

No pink ties....

Every now and then I let Ryan get his way:) Today was one of those days. Today would have been the 1 day I could have tried to put the boys in their pink ties, (you know the whole easter excuse I used last year). But to keep Ryan happy I dressed them in blue instead. What can I say I was feeling the love:)

happy green day

Some people like green milk on green day...

Some people like to visit establishments that have green chairs on green day.
and some people skip the green all together and just get dirty

Gotta have a plan B

We were supposed to go to the zoo ....but it was so packed with people....

so plan B had to be really good to cheer these kids up that were dying for the zoo.

So we went to "california" or so we pretended:) Kids don't know this isn't California now do they?

We even got a classic pic infront of all these boxes of beer, Cali style.

spring break day 1

First we tried to hit a baseball game...but it was sold out. We should have remembered that because it was spring break everyone else in AZ had the same plan.

So we went to lunch.
Dylan was on his first day of NO bottles and so he was either wanting to be held, crying

or laying down on the ground with his blanket. ( it was mostly the crying and whining, but I didn't feel like documenting all the crying with pics)

Then the fun really began with a tasty BBQ

babies flying high

and big D telling everyone that would listen about his blood owie on his knee.

I love Spring BReak!

Growin up

This kid is growing up way too fast! He is starting to act like a big boy. Yes, that means he makes fart jokes all day and thinks its hilarious, but it also means he says cute things like, "Mom, Im gonna marry you someday". I always thought it was so cute when I would hear little boys say that to their Moms and it is a little heart melting when the little guy is yours:) Interesting turn of events too, this kid is getting easier right as little sweet Dylan is entering into the terrible two's . HELP:)

What to do at Pump it up

You can play catch like normal kids....

or you can make up cool gang signs....
You can try and get a stranger in a pink jumpsuit to take a picture of you going down a slide...but sometimes that doesn't work out so well..

and finally you can take the "dear lizzy" challenge and take some quality self timer shots in the corner.

What ever floats your boat.

things that make you go hmmmm....

We knew there was a reason they were so giddy about going to the game....but we thought it was the front row seats....

anywho, they got some up close and personal time with these guys
and to think they actually stopped a stranger for a picture that didn't involve jazz dancers, they get points for that.

maybe we had a big party with a bunch of dancers too.....they'll never know:)

It's not that hard...

I'm feeling a little guilty today. You see how happy this kid is....it doesn't take that much. Actually, all it takes is me fixing the poor kid something he can eat! I get so lazy because he has so many allergies and so many foods he can't eat. So I kind of forget that even though he CAN'T eat most of what we are eating, the poor kid is still starving. So, crazy thing I have been taking the time to make the kid big meals of stuff he can eat, and what do you know. SMILES:)
