Christmas eve started out a little rough this year when Ryan had to take big D to the ER at 4 am because the kid was screaming in pain all night from a really bad ear infection, but they gave him all sorts of good meds and he was doing pretty good by nighttime....and a little funny, tylenol with codene can make an already entertaining 5 yr old even more entertaining:)
We had a yummy dinner, and really missed Grandpa who was home sick too
We enjoyed the Christmas tree
Dylan posed for pics with his new best buddy
Then we built a gingerbread house
By the time we got around to putting on the candy it was pretty much gone...hmm
Made the big man some cookies and chocolate milk
and then turned into santas helpers when the kids were sound asleep

looks and sounds like the perfect night. im just glad the ear ache hit that night and not christmas eve :) plus it probably made christmas a little more entertaining w d while he was drunk on the meds. i loved hearing about all the goods you scored, must have been a GOOD GIRL this year!
oh so sorry you had a sick one! Glad he got better fast, it looks like you had a sweet little evening. I love the picture of Dylan with his Teddy...he's so dang cute. Merry Christmas!
