I know its nothing out of the ordinary for most people to take their kids sledding....that is unless you live in AZ where it doesn't snow. Well this year our neighborhood had a big party where they brought a snow maker. There was a big mountain of snow for all the kids to sled on, and the best part was that it was 75 degrees outside to enjoy the sledding in, and a few jumpy things when you got sick of the snow. But not to worry they had snow cones too. Nothing like sledding and snowcones in the same day:) Oh and incase you are wondering, the last pic is when we told Dallas we had to go home for naps:)

the surprise...
We pulled off a surprise party for Jamie on Friday and let me tell you it is no easy thing getting one past this girl(am I right Paige).
This is her right when she walked in and saw everyone....
then she did the quick embarrased at all the attention head turn:)
followed by the phonecall to Matt(who deserves some serious props for making it happen and packing the best overnight bag ever(even without the PB and J)

It was such a fun night.....

here is the crew that made it through the long hall. Its been awhile since I have been up until 4:30am. Maybe I can stay up that long again for your 40 Jamie:)

the lights
Nothing gets you in the Christmas mood better then the lights at the temple, and its even better when you don't have to freeze your butt of to see em! There was even some great singing going on, great singing!

it's official...
I'm a part of the neighborhood. I attended my first neighborhood party. It was a cookie exchange party and I stressed way too much about it and the cookies (shhhhh not a word: Rachel, Jeannie, Jamie and Lacy, not a word). I kept the "filter" on almost the whole time and didn't speak once of Tupac, so it was a success. It was fun and maybe next year I wont stress so much:)
and to quote my lovely sister, "I made the hell out of these cookies":)
